WS2000 Replacement Slotted Wheel.

ONLY for use with Work Sharp model WS2000

The Work Sharp WS2000 features a unique Edge-Vision Wheel.

This 6-inch, slotted PC/ABS plastic wheel allows you to see the exact edge of your chisel, plane iron, or tool as you sharpen it on the underside.

It operates at 1,750 RPM and uses specific slotted PSA (Pressure Sensitive Adhesive) abrasives.

How it Works:
The wheel is designed with radial slots. When you mount slotted adhesive sandpaper to it and spin the machine, the spinning motion creates an optical illusion that lets you see through the abrasive. This means you can monitor metal removal in real-time, preventing over-grinding and ensuring accurate angles.

Best Practices & Tips
Use Slotted Discs: You must use slotted PSA discs designed specifically for the WS2000 (such as the Work Sharp WSSA0002024 or multi-grit fine abrasive kits).
Standard, solid discs will block the Edge-Vision feature.

Double-Sided:
The wheel allows you to mount abrasives on either the top or bottom of the wheel depending on your application.

Mark Your Bevel:
For the most precise feedback, color the bevel of your tool with a permanent marker before starting. You can easily watch the marker wear away as you engage the wheel.
