Description
MakeEdge™ is a modern version of the honing steel. which is easy to use correctly.
The MakeEdge™ solution is a small and flexible mechanism, which is easy to incorporate in to your design.
The MakeEdge knife honing mechanism is fixed inside a plastic tube, which can easily be mounted inside a chopping board.
When pushed the MakeEdge pops out and is ready to use.
It can be used on both plain edged and serrated knives.

Note: CrushGrind have developed the MakeEdge ia a honer for maintenance of a sharp edge on your knife.
The MakeEdge should be used daily, just a couple of times whenever you use your knives. This differs from a knife sharpener which is for repair.
The material inside the MakeEdge is high-tech ceramic, alumina - the same type of material as used in the CrushGrind mechanisms however the material composition of the ceramic used for the MakeEdge is slightly different from the grinders but both products are made in alumina (high-tech ceramic).
