Description

The finish and attention to detail you'll find in this jig is superior to other less expensive jigs. The Comb is made of precision CNC milled aluminum rather than plastic or die cast metal. Heavy gauge steel construction, with quick action cam levers make this a very substantial jig.

Perfect for production of Half Blind Dovetails. Half blind dovetails use the height of the router bit to alter the width of the pins, therefore giving a snug fit. Half blind dovetails are generally used on drawers, where the joint is not seen from the front, but then is seen from the side once the drawer is opened.

Full through, more decorative box joints can also be produced using an optional straight cutting router bit.

Quality 1/4" shank 14º Dovetail Bit (16mm long) with bearing is included in the box (replacement code CT-DTJ300-DB14).

Optional cutters also available are;

Use 818-142-11B which is a 14 degree dovetail cutter 9.5mm long - suitable for thinner boards

CT-DTJ300-DB - Dovetail bit (hardwood). 1/2 inch (12.7mm) diameter, 9.5mm long (7 degree)

ARD-152005B - Box jointing bit 3/8 inch (9.5mm) diameter
