Optional 2-1/4" A2 Coarse Toothed Plane Blade to suit:

05P34-01 Veritas® Low-Angle Jack Plane
05P36-01 Veritas® Bevel-Up Smoother Plane
05P37-01 Veritas® Bevel-Up Jointer Plane

This toothed blade allows fast material removal with minimal tear-out, even when working with difficult grain, particularly knots. They are also useful for leaving witness marks to indicate what parts of the work you still need to finish, or for texturing a surface for veneer.

The coarse-toothed blade is a good choice for fast material removal.

Designed for the Veritas bevel-up planes. The 2 1/4" blade can be used in the bevel-up jointer, smoother and low-angle jack planes.
