The Carbatec 8" Industrial Long Bed Jointer.
Featuring an extra long 1950mm bed for superior stock support and a superior parallelogram system for easy and accurate table adjustments. This system also produces less chipping as the tables follow the arc of the cutterblock when the table is raised or lowered. It also allows for more positive adjustment and there is none of the slack frequently found when using ordinary screw-type adjustment wheels.
A centre-mounted tilt fence provides solid support and a triple blade cutterhead provides a smooth cut at 16,500cpm.

NOTE:
1. NZ machines are sold with Bridge Guards over the cutter rather than the swinging guard shown in the photos.
2. The overhand planing function of this machine is commonly called a jointer as it is for creating straight and square edges for joints between boards. This overhand operation has also been called a "Buzzer" due to the noise made by straight knife machines. Many people refer to these machines where timber travels over the top of the cutter as Buzzers.
