Features and advantages of Silverglide
* SilverGlide (SilberGleit) is a graphite, silicone and solvent-free dry lubricant for wood.
* It is economical and has a long-lasting effect as a stain-free lubricant for woodworking machines.
* SilverGlide lubricant is applied as a fine sliding film to protect against corrosion and leaves no residue.
* Provides a water-repellent work surface that prevents rust from hand perspiration and displaces moisture on cast iron table tops.
* Wax-free metal lubricant neutralises resin and provides better movement of high-resinous timber
* Ideal for the workshop: All tool surfaces over which a workpiece has to be moved are treated with it.
* Can be used, among other things, for workshop furniture, wooden pull-outs, running surfaces, thickness planes or milling tables.
* Also suitable for Japanese saws, foxtails and other saws.
* Application: apply, leave to act, wipe off.


Choosing paste vs liquid:
While they are both designed to prevent friction and protect cast-iron machinery, Silverglide Original (Paste) and Silverglide Liquid are different forms of the same lubricant.

They both contain no silicone, graphite, or wax, and both leave no residue behind on your wood or metal.

However, their formulas and application methods differ:
Silverglide Original (Paste):
* A thicker paste that is buffed into machine tables with a cloth.
* It acts as a heavy-duty sliding film, deeply protecting cast iron and making it ideal for standard woodworking.
* The dry lubricant is applied with a cloth to machine tables, tool surfaces, milling machines and worktops to create an invisible, abrasion-resistant sliding film.
* The dry lubrication works without sticking and prevents soiling on planing machines.

Silverglide Liquid:
* A thinner, more fluid version that is often applied with a spray nozzle for fast, even coverage.
* It is especially convenient for larger machine tables and hard-to-reach sliding or adjusting devices.

No expiry date when stored correctly.
