Pro Carbide Bit and Mount for the Hollow Roller® Systems
Description
The Pro Carbide bit for the Carter Hollow Roller® systems provides a super sharp edged tool with the ability to vary the cutter angle versus the fixed angle of the standard unit.
The Pro version has a round shaft versus the square one of other standard models. This round shaft allows the user to vary the angle of the cutter to their desired sweet spot.
Intended for more experienced vessel turners the Pro version has the same cutter at the end as the standard carbide fixed version, but a round shaft versus a square shaft with a fixed angle.
Dished carbide cutters compared to high speed steel will last 20-30 times longer and since the bit is round all that is needed to return to sharp is a rotation of the cutter head.
Once the entire head is dulled it can simply be replaced with a new bit with the turn of one screw.
The tool comes complete with the mounting shank, Hollow Roller Carbide bit, mounting adapter, torx screw and wrench.
Fits both Hollow Roller® and Hollow Roller® XL.
