Important

Do not use "Drill Chuck"
Do not use any of the mini carving bits with a chuck accessory in your rotary tool (Dremel) or grinder. The chuck provides insufficient support to the shank which can result in wobbling of the cutter. A collet with tightening tools can grip the shank and allow the cutter to spin straight at high speeds. Note that it is important that the shank of the cutter be inserted quite deep in to the collet to ensure it can be used safely and accurately.

Do not use a "Flexible Shaft"
Use of a flexible shaft can lower both the speed of the cutter and the operating power - this can result in damage to the shank of the carving bit.
