Specially designed, 3-ply bags are engineered to preserve the fresh, off-the-shelf quality of your paints and stains.

The unique construction stops solvents from escaping and prevents oxygen from getting in, ensuring your paint's color and consistency stay perfect, project after project.

Formulated for Oil, water and alcohol based liquids, the specially formulated 3-ply construction helps prevent loss of solvents while a gas barrier inhibits oxygen penetration into the finish. This keeps the solvent-to-solid ratio consistent over time, which maintains the appearance of your finish over time.

Once the finish has been transferred to a StopLossBag® pouch it is easy to pour what you need into a wide-mouthed container for applying the finish. When you're done simply squeeze any air out of the bag before tightening the cap.

StopLossBags® are designed for oil, water, and alcohol-based liquids. You can use them with paints, stains, varnishes, glues, mineral spirits, darkroom chemicals, alcohols, water/ice, shampoo, etc.

Do Not use StopLossBags® with liquids containing: acetone, acids, benzene, lacquer, lacquer thinner, methyl ethyl ketone (MEK), methyl isobutyl ketone (MIK), toluene, xylene, some alcohols (Butyl, Isobutanol, Furturyl, Propyl). Zinsser® and some paint thinners may contain one or more of these solvents.

We recommend cleaning bags that have stored fine finishes with Mineral Spirits.
