Description

Micro-Mesh Soft Touch Pads are designed for small jobs, spot repairs, and detailed finishing, offering excellent flexibility and control. These larger 7.6 cm x 10.2 cm (3" x 4") pads feature a foam core that conforms to curves, edges, and flat surfaces, making them ideal for precise, high-quality results.

Each pad is colour-coded, with the same grade on both sides, and can be rinsed, dried, and reused—ensuring great value over time. The assortment set covers the complete Micro-Mesh MX grading system, ranging from coarse 60MX through to ultra-fine 1200MX. This makes them suitable for everything from initial shaping through to achieving a polished, high-gloss finish.

Unlike conventional sandpaper that often leaves irregular scratch patterns, Micro-Mesh pads use a cushioned abrasive system. This unique design allows the abrasive crystals to move freely, reducing deep scratches and creating an exceptionally smooth and consistent finish. Perfect for hardwoods, metals, and other fine finishing applications.

Primary Use: Metal Finishing, hardwood

Note: Micro-Mesh Regular abrasives are recommended for softer woods such as pine, cedar, spruce & larch. They will work on hard woods but require more effort.
Micro-Mesh MX abrasives are recommended for harder woods such as oak, ash, cherry, diamond wood, maple and poplar - MX abrasive cuts faster so you work less on harder woods.

Available in 2" x 2" sizes or in larger 3" x 4" sizes.
