Description

Upgrade your woodworking and metalworking toolkit with Micro-Mesh Dual Angle Detailing Files. Each file measures 12.7mm by 146mm and features a 15° taper at both ends, providing precision for deburring and finishing in tight or intricate areas.

Designed with two Micro-Mesh MX grades. One coarse and one fine. These files tackle surface imperfections efficiently. The MX series offers five grit combinations from 60MX to 1200MX, giving a total of ten grades across the five files in the Variety 5 Pack. This versatility makes them ideal for removing flash, smoothing metal, and refining harder surfaces.

Built for durability, these files are reusable and easy to clean—just rinse, dry, and store for future use. Ultra-Flex technology ensures consistent results while conforming to contours, delivering professional quality finishes every time. Choose from individual grades or the full variety pack to suit your project needs.

Available in 5 different grit combinations, these 5 3/4" x 1/2" size files taper to a 15 degree angle, allowing you finishing capabilities you didn’t have before.

Use for removing flash and surface imperfections from metal and hard surfaces and take advantage of the fact that they are long lasting.

After use, rinse in water, dry and store for future use.

The Micro-Mesh® MX series gives you options ranging from 60MX to 1200 MX grade or choose the variety pack for the entire series of 5.

Each file has a corresponding finer grade on the opposite side so the entire set includes 10 grades of Micro-Mesh® MX.

Note: Micro-Mesh Regular abrasives are recommended for softer woods such as pine, cedar, spruce & larch. They will work on hard woods but require more effort.
Micro-Mesh MX abrasives are recommended for harder woods such as oak, ash, cherry, diamond wood, maple and poplar - MX abrasive cuts faster so you work less on harder woods.
