These very fine carving tools are hand made in the USA.
A combination of the highest quality carbon steel and repeated hammering, forges these exquisite tool shapes from the original round tool stock.
The tools are then heat treated by a method developed by German metalurgist Adolf Marten early last century, hence the term Matensite hardness.
Note the tool is extremely sharp. For sharpening we recommend the Flexcut Power Strop.
