Another in the Veritas miniature range, the spokeshave weighs in at less than one ounce (28g) and is only 89mm long, it is 1/3 the size of our regular flat bottomed spokeshave, and is useful for making fine shaping cuts where a full sized tool would be too bulky or awkward to use.

Made of investment cast stainless steel, the low-profile body (14.2mm tall) has a 45° blade bed, a tight fixed mouth opening and hardwood handles. The sole and blade bed are machined. The 19mm wide, 1.6mm thick A2 blade is hardened to Rc60-62.

Supplied in a French-fitted embossed leatherette box, it makes a great gift.
