The Munro 1/2" Mini Scraper Articulated - Shear Scraper with Blade Holder head kit (no Shaft) has been designed as an accessory for the Munro Articulated Hollower.

Its primary purpose is assist the user to present the scraper blade at the most effective angle to the work-piece surface in a range of situations.

The shear scraper will produce a very clean surface on most timbers if it is presented at the correct angle to the wood.

Therefore its tool holder has two distinct planes on which to fasten the Scraper Blade, depending on grain direction and lathe rotation direction.

Because the forms being turned are highly varied the scraper blade has been shaped in an ever changing curve to allow as many contours to be followed as possible.
