Description
Chrome plated precision cutting kit - hobby knife - the quintessential beginner’s cutting knife.
For paper plastic,cloth, thin metal film, leather.
Uses standard 7mm pen making accessories to turn your own handle in timber or acrylic.
Kit comes with 10 blades and a blade holder which fits in one end of the tube.
If you turn a short knife (the length of the included tube) you simply add the silver top to the end of the handle - it fits in the 7mm tube.
If you want a longer handle there are two options - shape the handle as per the photo, drilll a 7mm hole the length of the tube and glue it in. The silver end piece is not required. Alternatively, purchase a long 7mm tube (TUBE-1-L), cut to your desired handle length. Drill handle material, insert tube, turn the handle on the lathe and add the silver top to the end of the tube.
Accessories:
Bushings (BUSH-PC) with 9mm external diameter. Note: Bush-7 is 8.5mm external diameter and could be used for a lighter handle.
