Whether you're a sharpening veteran or just starting out, this versatile guide lets you concentrate on sharpening without worrying about controlling blade angle at the same time. This makes your honing reliable, accurate and consistent. Best of all, it is simple to use!

This deluxe honing guide set includes both the standard and narrow-blade clamping heads as well as the angle registration jig, a straight roller base and a camber roller base. Combined, the two clamping heads accept chisels and blades ranging from 1/8" to 2-7/8" wide. The completely predictable results this set offers for a wide variety of blades makes it useful in the shop of any woodworker who works with hand tools.

The Veritas MK II Honing Guide works in conjunction with the included angle registration jig. This jig provides a 90° "fence" to square your blade easily, along with a number of pre-set depth stops catering to angles from 15° to 54° and back bevels from 10° to 20°. It is quick and simple process to set your desired blade angle, making repeatable accuracy a breeze.

The cleverly designed cam operated roller also allows you to hone a micro-bevel edge, without having to change you blade setup. Simply rotate the spring located cam roller from 12 o'clock to 6 o'clock for a 1-2° micro bevel!
