Description

Veritas have introduced the 3.2mm (1/8") narrow blade PM-V11 chisel. The PM-V11 blades have good edge retention, good impact resistance and is easy to sharpen. The 1/8” chisel blade has a 30° primary bevel and a 2° micro-bevel, though a final honing is recommended before use.

Flats in the shaped handle gives a reference to blade automatically, making it easy to realise where the edge is during use. Each chisel is balanced, the centre of gravity is close to the tang and socket connection. The Maple handle is heat treated to aid in preventing swelling and shrinking which is generally caused by changes in humidity. The top of the handle is dome shaped to resist the chance of chipping when hit by a mallet.
