Coarse replacement blade to suit Z-15009 Japanese Carpenters Fine RIp Saw H-250.

Graduated sharp teeth and narrow saw set are ideal for cutting along the grain of either soft or hard wood.
Tough saw blade with graduated teeth from heel to toe is designed for aggressively cutting along the grain of either hardwood or softwood.

These saws are hardened through the "Hard Impulse" treatment to increase the degree of hardness to the level of HV800-950 which is the maximum hardness that can be achieved on steel. Implementing this treatment on the tips of the saw teeth means that they are able to stay sharp much longer than conventional counterparts while the core of the blade remains both flexible and tough to prevent bending or buckling during use.

This blade fits on to the Fine Rip Saw handle which features a traditional Rattan wrapped handle that may be held with two hands for a long steady cut or for small precise cuts by holding the blade end of the handle with the fore finger resting along the back of the spine.
