UJK Parf Guide System MK2
Mk 2 version
Features & Benefits
•The perfect jig for creating accurate worktop hole patterns
•Perfectly aligned holes guarantee perfect 45° and 90° cuts
•Based on the Pythagoras theorem for infallible accuracy
•Designed and made in the UK
So much woodwork relies on being able to cut at perfect 45° and 90° angles, the UJK Technology Parf Guide System (PGS) uses the Pythagoras' theorem to drill a pattern of 20mm holes into a benchtop, or replacement top for a Festool Multifunction Table (MFT). Holes are spaced at 96mm intervals.
How It Works:
Two metal rods with a series of 3mm holes are used to drill 3mm holes in a row, usually parallel to the front of the bench. Then using Pythagoras' 3 4 5 method, a row of 3mm holes are drilled at a right angle to the first row of holes. This method is then repeated to get the desired grid of holes. Once the 3mm holes are drill, a special jig and boring bit is used to enlarge the holes to 20mm. All required tools are supplied in the kit.
Designed by Peter Parfitt, the UJK Technology Parf Guide System is a joint development with Axminster Tools & Machinery. Manufacturing of the system takes place entirely in Axminster, Devon under the UJK Technology brand name.
