Description

A weakness of bench grinders is that their tool rests are virtually useless. It's nearly impossible to find one with a rest that is solid and square.

Veritas' tool rest can be used with 6inch or 8inch grinders and mounts directly in front of the grinder.

It can be easily folded out of the way for freehand grinding.

An angle-setting gauge is included for bevel angles.

Features:
* Accurately machined, anodized aluminum construction
* Can be used with 6" or 8" utility bench grinders and many belt sanders/grinders
* Mounts directly to bench in front of grinder and can be folded out of way for freehand grinding
* 4" wide table straddles wheels up to 1" wide
* Grooved for sliding jigs and center drilled for rotating jigs
* Slotted arms allow wide range of angular and height adjustments
* Spring-loaded gyratory handles lock it in position and can be rotated out of way after locking
* Angle-setting gauge included
* Compatible with the Veritas Grinding Jig (05M06-01) and Skew-Grinding Jig (05N13-01)
