A873 Tail stock adapter, 1 inch X 8TPI

This unit does not rotate

Allows for mounting a chuck on the tailstock to provide centering for vacuum mounting

Steps;

1/ Take the chuck off the headstock with the workpiece still in it.

2/ Mount the chuck/workpiece on the tailstock using this adapter.

3/ Setup your vacuum chuck system on the headstock.

4/ Move the workpiece connected to the tailstock up to the vacuum chuck (thus perfectly on the centre line).

5/ Apply vacuum and transfer the workpiece from the chuck to vacuum chuck.
