Description

Pfeil Number 1SE chisels are a straight edged carving chisel with a bevel ground on one face of the blade only at a slight skew angle, this skew angle gives more of a slicing action so are used without a mallet.

The choice of single or double bevel is largely personal preference. The 1SE range is a single bevel skew. The 1S range is a double bevel skew.

Swiss made Pfeil chisels come sharpened and are completely ready for use. They are constructed with chrome vanadium alloy that is made to Pfeil's own specifications.

The last number of the product code indicates the cutting width in millimeters.

Made in Switzerland.

Pfeil 1Se - like No. 1, these chisels are used to carve the blank into rough form and to work on large areas. Single Bevel. The choice of single or double bevel is largely a matter of preference.
