Description

The collection of Flexcut Sloyd Knives are tough, well-made tools.

The blades are made of high-carbon steel. This results in a very hard edge for superior edge retention.

For added strength, the tang of each knife extends completely through the handle.

The handles are beautifully made of conditioned Cherry hardwood and feature a brass ferrule for added strength and stability.


Flexcut's Single Bevel Sloyd Hook Knife is razor sharp straight from the box - no need to sharpen first.

With an overall length of 203mm and a very tight 13mm radius sharpened all the way to the point, this tool excels for tight detailed and deep work.

Perfect for forming the hollows of spoons and bowls.

NB* Regular honing is recommended to maintain the edge. See our range of honing pastes and strops.

Founded in 1986, under the name of Falls Run Woodcarving, Flexcut began as a custom carving shop and woodcarving school.
