Description

Holds your chisel or plane iron in a vise-like grip at any angle. Rolls on a hardened steel wheel on your bench stone.

For chisels or plane irons.

Holds most irons/chisels from 2mm to 65mm wide in two position stepped jaws.

Using the wide jaws projecting the chisel past the jig by 50mm gives a 25 degree bevel.

Using the narrow jaws a projection of 40mm gives a 25 degree bevel.

Other projections gives a greater or lesser bevel angle.

Instructions for setting angles are on the packing and on the side of the jig.

For use on a Oil stone, Whetstone or Diamond stone (not included).
